GI.SS
so iv been looking around for a complete front end rebuild kit for my truck. which kit do I need? Im assuming since we use the torsion bar setup, we need to use the 4wd kit due to the ball joints being the 4wd ones? someone correct me if i am in fact wrong, but I want to buy these things and square away away this thing for another 100k miles
GI.SS
every pitman and idler arm i look up, come up as the 4wd units. are these the correct ones as we do not have rack and pinion? http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/search/Idler+Arm/02853/C0203.oap?model=Silverado+1500&vi=1432402&year=2006&make=Chevrolet
chawkins6789
Yes. With the front end parts minus the axle, most the parts are the same as a 4wd with the z60 suspension
GI.SS
ordered up every part for the front end minus control arm bushings. all moog components.
skymynx
Did you ever find a kit or did you just piece it all together? Looking to do this in the next month or so.
GI.SS
http://www.ebay.com/itm/161076144020?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and when you cross reference the part #'s in the kit, they come up as moog part #'s
teamvortec
But are they USA moog or China Moog? A few years back Moog actually started importing some parts and they aren't exactly what I call up to Moog standards.
GI.SS
It's honestly impossible to tell.... But the parts look top notch

GI.SS
I haven't put it on yet but the pieces look really good. My truck has been sitting for a while now awaiting a new trans
Chaney3000
So, I'm looking to redo ALL of my suspension. i ran across this thread and found the ebay kit. Can anyone tell me if this kit is legit? The part numbers match up with MOOG parts from Advance Auto Parts but $82 total seems a little too good to be true. One tie rod end from Advance is $55 dollars,... Sorry for the old thread revival.
