Dalefan3
Hey guys, I just got my Dale Intimidator yesterday and it is almost perfect condition (few scratches on the bed) and now I'm trying to find out how to find the car # so I know. I know 1333 were scheduled to be made but only 933 were actually made. Thanks and I LOVE my new ride (it's going in the garage next to my Jeff Gordon Monte with 8k miles on her. A_FUrious
Sadly it's near impossible to know your actual production number. It would have been on the COA and given to whom ever bought it for the first time. You can however get intouch with Chevy DEI and give them your VIN. They can send you a COA but it won't have the production #. Grats on your new truck n welcome!

Dalefan3
I called DEI Chevy and he said if you don't have the COA then there's no way of knowing what car # it is.....they could have put it on the car somewhere too.

A_FUrious
Correct, but you can get a new COA from Chevy based on your VIN. Sadly, you are correct, it will not contain your production #. I agree, they could have stamped it on the door or someplace. I've scourd my truck and have never seen anything of the sorts.

Thundercrotch
I guess you could talk to the dmv and see if they can give you contact information or atleast some names on the previous owners. You then might be able to talk to a previous owner and they might have the COA or remember the number somehow.
