TvsQuez
New setup was finished a few days ago. Zippy did an absolute amazing tune for me, as I drove the truck home 5.5 hrs from vegas back to california. The same tune I took to the track and ran an 11.82 on the new setup and beat my PB first time out. Very happy with the tune and I can't thank Zippy enough for staying up late and helping me through it. I dealt with him for quite awhile this year and I appreciate the guy more and more. I'm very happy with the new setup and have one necessary upgrade to do, once i do that I'm hoping to get into low 11's, turn up boost to 16-20lbs, track tune, and better DA will do it. Thanks again. Here is the video on youtube- Edited September 14, 2014 by Tvsquez (see edit history)

TvsQuez
Yes he does, he went out of his way for me. I posted a video of one of the runs. I was screwed on my last run because the guy didn't know how to stage and I went on and off of brake boosting... Screwed me bad

TvsQuez
Thanks guys, I'm happy with it the first time out. It'll get dialed in for the 27th and see if I can drop it in low 11's with the new tune.
12'SROCK
Congrats bro! What's your set up and what turbo do you have?
TvsQuez
Thank you, it's Front mount 76mm turbonetics, 4l80, and small cam. That's about it, very simple setup on low boost right now.
BLOWN SS/T
Congrats. I didn't make it out, I was out in Paso Robles and a buddy texted me about a blue turbo'd SS lol. I immediately thought of your truck. Wait for the better DA's and you'll have better times, my dam truck started giving me trans issues. TvsQuez
Yeah, there wasn't much to brag about out there. New stang running low 10's and an srt8 running mid 10's. That was it, everyone else was basically stock. I'll be back out the 27th, but october 8-9th weather might be better.

How many psi? What turbonetics turbo is it? 7675? 7875? 7668?
TvsQuez
I was on 11psi. I previously had a mid-mount and swapped everything forward... Amazing difference, and the tune is obviously better. Edited September 16, 2014 by Tvsquez (see edit history)
AKSSS
It didn't sound like you were spinning at all. I am pretty sure my old setup had less power than you and I couldn't do anything to get traction. What are you doing to hook that thing up? 4 drag radials? TvsQuez
I'm on stock 17s and old stock tires. I never spin much, but only left at 6psi. On my two step, ill find out, as I use to leave on a 10-12lb launch, and I'm sure I'll spin some then.
AKSSS
I don't get that. I was running 22's with general grabbers. And leaving the line at 2-3 psi and blowing the tires for a truck lenth or two. That's awesome for you! I'm fixing that damn problem though. 4 drag radials on my stock 20's should do the trick. Your truck is really moving good though!! Wait until you turn it up to the top of the 2bar sensor!! Good job!
