alexsrt
Hey guys I'm new here well I got a 2006 silverado ss that I got about 3 month. For the last couple week the truck been acting weird. At first when the trams gets to about 200 degree the truck would hesitate on take off. So today I changed the fluid and now it's worse, it still takes off slow and it doesn't have the full power it did when I first got it, also on the home today I was doing about 60 mph at 3000 rpm and the truck didn't want to shift. SOMEONE PLZ HELP
Thickcajun
Did you flush it or just change the fluid? Also how many miles.

Thickcajun
They sell products that will flush and clean your tyranny but I've heard many horror stories about people flushing them and having problems after.

coal miner
Yeah man I'd say you will be needing a tranny. I'm not 100% on that. Maybe some of these other guys will chime in.
Blown 346
If the fluid is dark, I would drain and refill the trans, replace the trans filter. If you flush it, thats when most have trans issues.
coal miner
If the first fluid change made it worse . I don't think I'd change it again. Take it to a transmission shop and let them check it out.
