Downeast Johnny Posted August 14, 2014 Report Share Posted August 14, 2014 I don't think it would sound bad, but if it was me I would spend the cutout money on LT headers before I got the cutout's. As far as the size of the cutout goes; I would lay out a long term plan as far as what you want in the truck when your all done with it and buy the size that fits that plan. I would get tired of the heat from the cops and the volume from the truck. I realize that you can close the cutouts but do you want to have to look over your shoulder for cops every time you want to open them up? onebadmax Posted September 4, 2014 Report Share Posted September 4, 2014 2.5 will fit, but the stock exhaust is actually 2.75. Btw Long Tube headers will give you a lot more sound.
