Smokinthehippies
Does the ac compressor recieve any input from the throttle? It seems like when ever I drive semi aggressively or more, my ac blows just hot air. But if I'm just puttin along cruising under 2k rpm than it's icy cold like it should be. Is that something that can be tuned out or is there a bigger issue afoot? Thanks!
Downeast Johnny
I've never noticed any difference in the output of mine when hard on it.
Muggs
Not sure, but I'm gonna check mine today when I get off work
Smokinthehippies
I'm wondering if maybe the charge isn't where it should be?
bassmaster
Check your coolant level. I had a similar problem, except opposite (cold @ aggressive, hot @ leisurely) and found I had a leak Sent from my Galaxy S-Fawhore Edited July 24, 2014 by bassmaster (see edit history)
la122685
Mine does the same, hot when I get on it. Cold when driving normal.

I'd be cool and get everywhere ahead of schedule.
canadianVRss
Yeah, it is throttle related. There is a table in the PCM at that controls when the AC is turned off. For example my AC is commanded off at over 5200rpm. I believe there is also a table commanding the AC off at certain percentages of throttle. Example %90 open = commanded shut off. Thanks! Do you know if that setting can be removed or adjusted at all?
canadianVRss
It can be adjusted however you want, just input a set amount. Here's the table http://i1223.photobucket.com/albums/dd510/Pwilly7/image_zps9d48fea8.jpg I'd question spinning the AC pump above 5200 though. Besides, when you smash the go peddle the AC disables for a reason, to give you all the power you're wanting (and also maybe to save the pump from revs it's not meant for). Smokinthehippies
Well 5200 would be fine. But it seems like mine is cutting off around 2500. Which is too low to be practical. If it only happened around 5k I'd have no issues
canadianVRss
Are you wot at 2500rpm? Like when you launch hard? That would fall under the throttle % table.
Smokinthehippies
Nope. More like cruising at 2k and then giving it some throttle to accelerate. Maybe 50% throttle.
canadianVRss
Your table must be set low. Custom tune will fix that up for you.
