HP Tuners specific Tuning classes starting

I was going to post this a while back and forgot. I am going to be holding classes for HP Tuners training. There is other software I use, but this is where I want to start since it is the most popular software used and most people need to learn the software. I will also be doing advanced course's teach the actual tuning, but learning the software first is a must. Check my Facebook page for class info or call.

Do you have pricing on this? You should just have them pre-recorded and posted on a website so you can pay and watch/learn at your own pace. I liked how "the tuning school" did their videos. Very easy to follow. Just an idearrr ... Good luck with this I really hope it takes off so I can learn from one of the best

Price for the 101 class is $500. I won't be doing any in video form like that. Video form has a few issue's starting with people copying and then selling just as happened with Greg Banish's video. Another issue is that the software truely is complicated and when you do a class your attention is 100% on learning vs watching a video with the I'll come back to it way of learning. I also feel that learning the software will need to be inter-active so that questions can be handled as it goes. One last thing on the tuning school is that I have a handfull of customers who have went to their class and when they were done didn't really feel any more confident with their software than when they started. I'm not making a point to bash there class or any others, but I help many, many people and shops with tuning and I have a fair number of people I help who have been to a tuning school of some type. The only one that seems to get a consistantly decent review is Greg Banish. Most people have more questions when they leave class then before they went.

Ok here is a far fetched idea or maybe its not IDK... I have been learning on my own through tons of research off and on for almost 1.5 years now and an idea came to me that may be out there already... So far in my trials and tribulations learning how to tune I have done hours of research, and when I am confident enough I would run a data log 15-20min or more, then compare tables and data log and make minor tweaks, wash and repeat... This costing money in gas, hours and hours of the day and week data logging and more.... The idea I have was or maybe its out there is a digital dyno demo software or something that does a computorized simulation data log from stock to any configuration of editor changes I may have done( allowing me to make far more drastic changes, cutting my tune time down to hours instead of days, without the potential of thousands of dollars in engine parts strewn about on the highway or track)... I understand how tough it may be to create a software with all these variables but if it has or can be done I would be able to sit at home and adjust timing and ve tables and fuel enrichment and so forth and plug in the changes to a preset vehicle configuration and have it show me what I did right or wrong in terms of knock and STFT/LTFT numbers... Obviously you would still have to know what each table does and what to change but for someone like myself that has done tons of research and have a good idea what to change and what not to change based on knock, trims, etc... this would prove to be very beneficial for learning multi vehicles without spending credits to unlock a new vehicle to tinker with and learn lol or messing with a current vehicle at baby baby baby steps to avoid grenading a motor at WOT!!!! Just a thought so dont be to hard on me and if theres something already out there just point me in the right direction besides flying out to vegas LOL... Unless you decide to do a tune class in MN then I am down haha...

mike (zippy) is top shit, if you are nearby you should take this. having HPT just for your own truck, if you are modding it at all, is REALLY helpful. it will save you money in the end too. i have been tuning GM vehicles since 2005, Ford, Subaru, Mitsubishi (EVO) since about 2009. i have read all the books and videos available back towards when i started. mike is right, it really is hard at home on free time to just sit and pay 100% attention, for one. also you cant ask the TV a question (unless your really f'd up, then it might even answer you  ). my point is- almost a decade of running a speed shop and tuning, every now and then i STILL will talk with mike about strange tuning issues and such. im sure i would learn things from his class. IMO well worth the money if your nearyby
