I was wondering if yall think it would look good If i painted the turn signals/drl all the way black. ambers..chrome and all? I was going to leave the chrome in the headlights and just paint the amber lenses. Do you think this would look good or should i just stick to painting the ambers black? BLOWN SS/T Posted April 19, 2014 Report Share Posted April 19, 2014 Idk if the paint would last, I've seen some bubble up. I'm not a fan of the look. A friend of mine is doing a complete color change on his NNBS and painted all the chrome black, he hasn't got the truck out the shop yet but I don't like the look of the headlight. Why not just remove the amber? I had took a set apart for my SS a couple months ago and recently put them back together and they're on the truck. Much better look then the amber. Those areas are meant to reflect, especially during the day hours. If you were to get hit, and a cop sees the turn signal area black they can automatically consider you to be at fault. So many people do it around here, the cops can't do anything about it. Don't worry about the legal part no one will notice. I just wanted to see if yall thought it would look good all black....not just if I should for legal reasons. Would it look good with the turn signals black with the headlight still chrome?
