Bouch252
So I need new brakes and rotors on the front of my 06 SS. Don't feel like spending a fortune. What's a good brand? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jsanders347
If you're looking to stay cheap go to your local parts house and get factory replacement parts.. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Bouch252
Not saying cheap. I have cross drilled/slotted on it now wanted to stay with the same type Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
JC03SS
I think my replacement SSBC rotors were less than 500$ there slotted I got away from drilled the ones I had spider craked on me. So far they have been great. Hawk pads in back an ac delco in front. They came with front pads but I didn't run them.

Blown 346
With personal experience cross drilled are not the way to go as they do start to crack. The best choice is to go with slotted, they wont crack and do a better job. The cross drilled rotors will only trap brake gas in the drilled holes causing them to crack.
