tjblack03ss
Ok I have the intake manifold from a trailblazer ss it's all put together with the fuel rails, injectors, injector pigtail adapters, and cross over rail. My question is it doesn't have the piece combing out of the back for the hose that goes on to the brake. Would I be able to take the one off my stock intake manifold and put it in or would I have to buy that piece new? I'll upload the picture of it
GI.SS
I'm pretty sure it plugs right in. I forget what I did on mine
BLOWN SS/T
Yes your's will work. In fact, I tried using the one off the tbss and it's too short. If you can get it on there before you mount the intake on the engine. I made the mistake of putting the intake on and then found out it was to short, couple scrapes to the hand and I had it switched. BLOWN SS/T
03s need the FPR. Mines an 06 so didn't have to deal with it. Have you read all the how to's?
tjblack03ss
Well I guess you get what you pay for I screwed with this intake missing parts pieces broken and wrong parts on it
canadianVRss
Why not just use the brake booster port off your old one? As for the regulator. All the 03 guys have that issue.
onebadmax
My buddy said he was able to retain his stock regulator. Said he modified the fuel crossover to fit or something like that. I'll ask him Friday when I see him. I will get some pics too.
5752
Imo, go with your 03 stock rails/crossover/fpr. The rails will require mounting mods & the cross over will need mods to fit over the tbss manifold. While you're at it ...throw in some 8.1 Marine injectors...then you'll be set for future mods. tjblack03ss
Ok so I got everything in but all the injectors on the passenger side are not working the rail has fuel pressure so what could be causing them to not fire? I'm getting codes 0128,0174, and 0172
Blown 346
The P0128 is a coolant temp below t stat regulating temp. The P0174 bank 2 system too lean. The P0172 is bank 1 too rich
