90zxdriver
Not looking to get rid of mine but I am very happy with it. Shoots pretty good. I got it from Sports Authority for around $200 a few years ago.
rudy91040
If you haven't seen them, check out the 10/22 take-down. You can break it down to two pieces in literally seconds. Plus it comes with its own bag too.

JC03SS
Look at your local pawn shops. I got a savage 17 with a nice bushnell scope for 150$ at a pawn shop like new condition.

No real pawn shops in Mass., or in the area for that matter ... Secondly, out firearms licensing is so hard, there are only a selected few who sell guns in the state. '99slobird
If you don't mind a bolt action a CZ might be worth looking into. I have a 10/22 and my dad has the CZ, IMO it is a better feeling gun and really is noticeably bettter when shooting over 40 yards. But there aren't any upgrades for it, and it's not as much fun to plink with.
texaSS364
You could also check out the marlin 795, I have one and love it.
Stitches040
You could also check out the marlin 795, I have one and love it. I just may... I'm off to a decent size gun show on March 22, 2014 ... I figure I'll just wait until then to purchase something ... My neighbor offered me an old Bolt Action .22LR for $50.00 ... I told him sure ... We just need a time to drink beers over it ...
Downeast Johnny
Racoons beware the Slidefire 10/22 conversion. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/02/24/slidefire-1022-conversion-kit-impressions/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=2014-03-03&utm_campaign=Weekly+Newsletter He gets it together at around 3:40. video is a little slow till that point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYQNtVOVjI8 Edited March 6, 2014 by Downeast Johnny (see edit history)
