[email protected]
Finally have all the parts in for the bottom end and assembly will be hopefully next and installation the week after. Rocker arms were unusable, the tips were all torn up so I ordered a brand new set from CHE which should be in early next week. Should have it back by the end of the month, hopefully a bit earlier. Downeast Johnny
5 months is a long time without your truck. It'll be like Christmas when you get back in her. Best luck. Hope you get her back soon.

[email protected]
Rockers came in today, hopefully they work as well as I keep reading everywhere.
GI.SS
details on the rocker arms? im interested in upgrading mine here very soon.
[email protected]
Bottom of the WCCH page linked: http://www.proheads.com/products.html#cherocker They are supposed to be nearly indestructible from all the reviews and whatnot I have read. If you have good cores they can upgrade yours for a couple hundred cheaper, mine were trashed so I had to buy new ones, just over $700 shipped. GI.SS
Seems like all it is, is a trunnion upgrade getting rid of the needle bearings
[email protected]
Mostly yes, I don't know a whole lot about the technical details of it, but they have very positive reviews on multiple forums.
sprayed99
CHE is a bronze bushing style. Comps are a full roller bearing that is caged on both sides. Personally I wouldn't have spent the money on the bushing style as the will wear faster.
GI.SS
Yea I was thinking similar. Very expensive rockers. Could have went shaft mount but to each their own and the build will still be super sick
[email protected]
I still have enough time to return them and get something different, if you have some suggestions let me know. I need a 1.8 ratio, cost isn't much of an issue, I am way overspending on the build as it is so I want to get the best stuff I can without getting too ridiculous, $750.00 or less is ideal. Is this the Comp set your talking about? http://www.compperformancegroupstores.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CC&Product_Code=16765-KIT&Category_Code= Edited January 15, 2014 by Red454SS (see edit history)

The comp trunion replacement does the same thing for 200.
[email protected]
My rockers are shot, otherwise I would have just gotten them upgraded. Any suggestion on a good aftermarket set instead of the CHE ones I have?
[email protected]
Had to wait on a second set of gaskets and have the cam redone, so now parts are actually all in. Building should be next week, hopefully will get all the specs soon.
