Thing1
Well earlier today a horse trailer in town took out my front bumper and drove off ... I am very sad about the whole deal but I guess life happens. At the moment I have a street scene one but it has always bothered me that it is one piece instead of separate. I was looking into getting an OEM or maybe a perfect replica one, any suggestions? Also I know that the street scene one works as a bumper cover and bolts right onto the bumper, will the OEM one work the same? Thanks. jddmj
The OEM has a set of brackets that bolt up to the factory bumper. My brackets on my truck where custom made by Carls_LQ9_SS. I have seen people use just double sided tape, and screws in the sides. I wouldn't if I was you lol. We have a local place that sell an aftermarket version fairly cheap ($120.00 or so) So you might try a auto body store for an aftermarket part. I hope this helps. Andy89a_nokturnalcc
Hi, Jddmj- I was wondering if you could give me the number of the that local shop with the aftermarket version of brackets or even their website if they have one? Thanks
avtonomb
Try eBay. I bought an aftermarket one for $108 shipped a couple weeks ago. Just need to wait for the deals to show up
