shawnss Posted March 12, 2013 Report Share Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) I ride ATV's 2010 yfz450r have some pretty minor bolt-ons. the biggest mod was suspension. it was stupid pricey. 3k + is stupid. i which these prices would come down. mods are fox evol gen 2 full suspension. rear fox podium x shock. lonestar long travel A arms. proline e-brake delete pro armor nerf bars pro armor rear brab bar GYTR front bumper. pro taper bars. Dasa full exhaust MSD blaster chip FCI full intake without air box couple little bolt-ons. also just sold my baby a few month back. it was just to stupid fast and I alredy had the 2010 yfz450r that I never rode. so i sold the R1 raptor. I was getting really stupid on it. this bike was built by me and a friend had a 2007 yamaha R1000cc street bike motor on it. my buddys have some bad ass drag bikes to. they got me back into quads I took a few years off. Aldofashow Posted March 12, 2013 Report Share Posted March 12, 2013 I got a 1989 quadracer 500 needs lower end cases and new cylinder right now last owner was a hack kept blowing base gaskets fast as hell when it was running. rolling frame fully redone bearings powder coat plastics it was funny going to the pits young kids didn't know what it was but there parents did they would say dad were do you buy one of those. I go back and forth with dumping money into the SS and then dumping money into the quads then RC cars ect. its getting nice out so the progress on the SS slows a bit. only because I'm out riding on my spare time. So I only get to spend a few hours a week on the truck, to many hobbies and not enough time to enjoy them all. i also fish too. way to many hobbies. I used to ride dirt, now I ride street. My current bike makes 170rwhp, so 'beast 4-stroke' definitely applies. Please excuse the terrible picture.. that was my first streetbike, blue/black 2007 GSXR-600. Owned it since brand new, sold it 2 years ago w/ 13,000kms on it. The thing didn't have a single scratch, never should have sold that bike. Even with 'only' 105rwhp, it was no slouch. Got the itch to ride again last year, found and bought a mint (or what I thought was mint) blue/white 2006 GSXR-1000. Upon close inspection (after purchase) with the fairings off, it had been previously crashed.. goddamn @$$hole who sold me the bike lied to my face. Oh well, the bike rides great, so I can't bitch too much. Don't have any pictures of the 1K at the moment.. last summer with the bike parked out in front of my house, my neighbor's 20 year old bimbo sister backed over the fkn thing. It's currently getting all new OEM plastic and a few other things that were wrecked. It's going to look awesome when it's all finished, I'll have to post up some pictures of it. I have had a few different bikes over the last few years first bike was a 07 yamaha R6 bought brand new put 5k miles on it in 4 months then traded it for a new quad. then I bought a 08 gsx-r 600 it was my first suzuki and I really found out I like the suzuki street bikes. So I sold the 08 gsxr and bought a 0 gsxr 1000. well I started getting stupid on it and told myself if I started doing dumb stuff I would sell it. But man am I kicking myself. heres the story on the 07 gsx-r I bought. I feel i got a great deal on it. So the story on the bike was the guy bought it new in 07. the first season he bought it he broke his shoulder so he didnt ride it much. then in 08 he bought a dirt bike and spent all summer at the hills on the dirt bike. well it still never got rode. so the next year he put a few miles on it. but still didnt ride it much. then in 2011 he broke his hand and needed money for hospital bills so he put it up for sale. I so i had looked at it for a month or 2 on craigslist. I tossed it around with the wife a decided I needed it. I sold my 08 gsxr600 and took the guy $6000.00 cash and he sold it. heres the crazy part. I bought the bike the summer of 2011 and it only had 572 miles on it. thats it. it was pretty much new and bone stock. only mod was a fender kit and a set of frame sliders. it was the cleanest 4 year old bike I had ever seen. Im really kicking myself for selling it. heres some pictures of the day I bought her home so clean and never had been down. all stock and CLEAN!!!!! and IMO the best color they made. heres how many miles she had after the 11 mile ride home the day I got her. super low miles for a 07 and I bought it in 2011. I was planning on leaving mine stock but the mod bug bit me after I bottom-end the factory suspension with a big jump. it slammed hard. it hit so hard my chin smacked the handle bars. so I upgraded the suspension then the rest was history. I ordered a few more parts this week. i cant seem to stop modding it . but Im getting close to being done. I thing a set of precision bar clamps and and a steering stabilizer and I'm done.
