Throttle Body Coolant Mod

This mod has been around for awhile. It was one of the things to do when the LT1 came out and I even did it on my 96 Z. Does it make a difference?? Not near enough to make a difference if any at all but the point is there at the end of the day. Note though, if you drive your truck daily and live in really cold climates I would leave it hooked up.

Yep I did this on my LT1 DD as well. Still the same to this day...

Is it something you will feel? Probably not, but due to the need to keep the ETC throttle-bodies clean for proper function, I feel the modification really lends itself to making this task easier and if for nothing else I like it.

I did this mod today. I'm hoping for at least 10 rwhp gain out of this :fingersx::laugh:

All I did was just re-route the hose coming out of radiator. No extra material needed.

I could've swore I got 20AWHP...all jokes aside, it's an easy FREE MOD that just keeps temperatures a little more constant, IMO. Never noticed any gains, but I am sure I didn't lose any either.
