Hi, guys, I'm thinking of buying a DNA test kit to know the lineage of my dog. Because I adopt a puppy a year ago and the shelter said that it is a mongrel. But as it grows it looks like a German Sheperd. I'm just curious about it, do you think I need to buy a kit?

Just an update guys, I saw this dog DNA test which will help me know the ancestry of my dog. I'm quite surprised that knowing what kind of dog your pet is, you will know what training, nutrition and health plans she needs. I hope that I can know the ancestry of my dog to know which training should I formulate for her. What do you think guys?

They do make dog dna tests...

Yep and Diana is here to spam for them! With her "dark grey metallic 2005 SS" ...

anyway back to the pets, this is Rowdy, she's a rescue from a wrecker impound lot. Feral cat and she's my best buddy. When she's not drawing blood.

Wow! I didn't even know that we had a pet section. Anyway,  here is our Pomeranian mix breed, Tobin. After a long day of work, I come home to this cuddly critter, rubbing his head against my feet and howling for some doggy treats. Usually, we'd watch T.V. in the living room, play catch in the backyard, and sing along to a few old Linkin Park albums. He's a bit too playful at times, which is why we fit him with one of those shock collars to help with his discipline whenever he gets too rough for playtime. He also enjoys our outdoor walk during my days off. Overall, he has been a great companion throughout these years.
