shawnss Posted November 5, 2010 Report Share Posted November 5, 2010 (edited) well im doing the 80 myself. looks like i will be needing this. i wont be doing the swap until around feb. just collecting parts right now. so with this input gear adapter that you make do i need to swap out the tail shaft of the 4l80??? i have my 80 and it is already a 4x4 4l80. i was about to order this from raptor transmission but im pretty sure this isnt what i need. sorry no info but this is it a 32 spline tail shaft and adapter heres the link http://www.transmissioncenter.net/_DSC2485.JPG just went and snapped a pic of the 80s tail shaft and adapter. just wondering if the 80 will bolt right up to my nvg 149 with the adapter thats already on the 80 or will i have to buy a custom adapter??? any info would be great.
